The welcoming remarks will be delivered by Dr.Qais Issa Mohammed Al Yahyai, the Executive Vice President of the Central Bank of Oman.

OiFF2019 will highlight the potential of financial technology in developing the Islamic finance sector and improving financial inclusion.

The forum will provide the platform for institutions to showcase their experience and success stories. It will also facilitate business exchange and collaboration opportunities between key stakeholders for the development of the industry in Oman.

The event will gather key delegates from the industry. It is sponsored by Alizz Islamic Bank and Finterra Technologies. More than 20 experts nationally and internationally will be joining OiFF2019 to share their expertise and present digital solutions for the benefit of Islamic Financial Institutions. The event will cover a wide range of topics like Islamic Fintech Solutions by the Gold Sponsor iFiN Services, PayTech solutions, Blockchain, Crowdfunding, Muslim Entreprensurship and Digital Transformation to name a few.

OiFF2019 will also feature a special Fireside Chat with CEOs of the leading Islamic Banks in Oman to discuss how FinTech is impacting the industry and share their insights on the future of FinTech in Oman.

The choice of “Islamic Fintech” stems from the ambition to develop the Islamic Finance sector for the benefit of Muslim countries.

“Oman has great ambitions to diversify its economy and harness the power of technology for the well-being of its society. Oman 2040 vision says it all, and we are going to Oman this year to support the Sultanate’s strategic plans and leverage on our network and expertise for the benefit of the local industry’s stakeholders”.
